Dear Hiring Manager,

I am excited to learn more about you and to introduce myself.  I'm thankful for my Sales and Marketing position at Never Summer Industries, local snowboard manufacturer, where I've worked my way up from production to the Rocky Mountain Sales Rep position and being on the marketing team for the global company.  I've learned a ton throughout the past seven years at Never Summer, and look forward to continuing to learn and progress.  Earning my education at Metropolitan State University is helping me in my career, and my career is helping me maintain my 4.0 GPA as I attain my Bachelor's Degree in Marketing.  I'm enjoying my time exploring the Marketing and Sales world.

Growing up, sales has always been in my blood.  My father is a professional sales trainer, motivational speaker, and author, so the art of selling has come naturally.  I have always been passionate about skateboarding and snowboarding, set my career goals, and have worked hard towards them, and continue to do so, and have found myself where I want to be.

Years in production at Never Summer has taught me an enormous amount about hard work, persistence, and fine attention to detail.  I have gotten to know, on a friend basis, all of our core snowboard shop owners and staff in the Rocky Mountain Territory.  We recently ventured to manufacture and new product, a very unique, pull behind camper trailer, and I have been playing a crucial role in the marketing effort, material supply, production, and sales.  I also represent Flux Boots and Bindings in the same territory.  The future is looking bright.

I also own a small window cleaning business, Crystal Clear Services, in which I've grown for the past decade and supply business to an ever-growing client base, and am a promotional model and ambassador for well-known brands such as Fireball, Tabasco, and Keef, through a marketing and events agency, Colab Marketing.  I keep my schedule booked, and I enjoy staying busy and on top.  I just purchased my first house.  I live with my brothers and puppy dog downtown, and it feels good to have made my first major investment.

Thank you for your time.  My plan now is to focus on work and school, and to expand on my current career path by adding additional brands to my sales portfolio after I graduate.  I'm excited about the opportunities, and look forward to the future, and seeing where we can help each other out.

Sincerely,

Nick Warkethien
